Parallax : Chapter 1 - The Verdictor

It was me.
.
.

I saw myself standing alone, Just right there, standing in the middle of the rain. Exactly, across the big tree in front of me. The sky was dark blue and it was cold, windy, and wet. Then, I heard the sound of a crying girl. She was beside the tree, sitting and crying loudly. He was coming towards the girl. Then he asked, "Are you okay?", she gave no reply. He asked again, "What happened to you?", and it was answered quietly.

Then, she grabbed something behind her and she stared at him. With her dark blue, innocent, and glazed eyes. Full of madness and sadness, blended as well. He took a step backward, carefully. She took a step forward, hobbled. Then he grabbed both of her hands, and threw up something in her hand. A knife. Flooded with blood.

"Who are you, and what happened to you?" Again, she was just smiling quietly. Then she gone through the wind. Any words could speak no more.

Later, he started to walk out. Another atmospheric view suddenly faded in. An eagle grounded, right in front of him. It gave him something. A stone. Red, oval-shaped, and had its own symbol in the middle of it. The eagle pointed its claw to the lake. It wanted him to throw up the stone into the lake. He was nodding. As the sign that he understood what it wants. He tried to throw it. Nothing happened, but wait ..

It pulled back to his hand. Weirdly, it's suddenly chained. Piercing his hand. He groaned in pain and yelled, "What have you done?!." Again, the eagle asked him to throw it one more time. He denied. "It hurts. So much. I couldn't gonna make it." It stared at him for a while, and left him alone. He cowered. Settled down like a dead body in the middle of the lake full of skulls. Crying all alone, but no one could ever listen.

Fear came up, coincide as the darkness came. A weak, old, and white tiger walked in. Getting closer and closer to him. Just right in front of him, it stopped. Crooning. He tried to understand what on earth is happening. The tiger gave him an old wooden box, and an old vintage-styled keys. He grabbed it, and opened the box. There was a piece of paper and a little storage box with three spaces.

It said,
"As the sun loved the moon so much, he died every night to let her breathe. Your future is in your hand. Time would still pass on and on. Time has its own limit. Never waste it. Be wise as you've grown up. You are not alone, dear."

The box, includes 2 stone on the left space, and the right space. The first stone had the symbol of a little girl, colored orange. The third stone had the symbol of a tiger, colored white. Soon after that, he looked up to the red stone that he got from the eagle. It had the symbol of the eagle itself. He placed it inside the box. In the middle space.

The box shined. Everything became so bright.

I woke up on my bed. Sweating. Still figuring out, what was happening. Looking around, and found that box. "Wasn't it just a dream?". I took it and opened it. There was another message.

"Everything you've seen, is what made you. Everything you've heard, is all about you. That wasn't a dream at all. I took you there. It was me who showed you. Little girl with a knife, represents an anger of innocents. Wicked. When you can't control out your anger, it would become your own killing-self. When you can't control it, that's what you are. An eagle represents your pride, your ego. You tried to throw it away, but you couldn't. Because it chained to your life. You are inherently a selfish little creatures, holding to your own pride of nothing. Immorally arrogant. The Tiger represents of a passion and a power. The tiger itself showed up weak. Which means, you got no passion, nor power. Who are you to think that you're high enough? You're no more than nothing, when you looked into yourself. Be aware of everything. You are the Verdictor. You should know that you're not alone. Prepare yourself.
- Selcouth Jr."
